Elizabeth Gillis grew up on the southern coast of Connecticut, about 30 minutes outside of New York City. Today, Brookline is her home and Boston, her city. Last year she graduated with a journalism degree from Emerson College. And in the spring of 2013 she spent a semester abroad as part of a journalism program in Rabat, Morocco.
When she’s not working on a story Liz can be found fervently reading or trying to get lost somewhere around Boston. Sometimes one leads to the other. Long runs, yoga and NPR help her relax between deadlines.
Liz loves adventures and good stories. Most importantly she likes to share them with as many people as possible. She is always interested in freelancing and internships.
